Our Auxiliary Devices

CPM Extrusion Group has developed a range of auxiliary devices for twin screw extruders and multi screw

extruders.

By focusing on easy integration in various types of extrusion systems, flexible design based on standard

components, and our large portfolio of sizes, our auxiliary devices are well-known in the market.

Basic Design

In many extrusion processes, fillers and reinforcing agents, as well as pigments and flame retardants are

not added in the main intake but in the subsequent processing sections. A flexible, wear-resistant reliable

side feeder is therefore required.

Our side feeder is designed to adapt easily to all OEM brands and types. The side feeder can be

individually adapted to the requirements of throughput rate, available space and the connection dimensions

to the side feed barrel of the main extruder.

The system is available with a screw diameter from 25mm to 160mm.

Typically, the side feeder is fed by a gravimetric feeding system. The tightly intermeshing screws of the side

feeder receive the product and transport the material into the main extruder.
